Algebra Final and the Lady Sabers
In December, Mr. Schreder will be holding a review session on Wednesday Mornings in December for his Algebra I students who would like to start studying and reviewing for the semester final. We will go over key concepts and formulas that the students have learned and what they will need to know to do well on the final. These sessions will start at 7:20 in Mr. Schreder's room and will be go over important topics as well as answer any questions the students may have (questions should be on specific concepts and formulas, graphing, or how to sovle a problem and not on number of questions on the test or how many etc., this will be discussed as the final approaches).
The Lady Saber's basketball team is off to a 3-1 start after defeating Monticello and Tuscola Thursday and Friday night, before falling to Urbana in a hard fought contest 38-37. The Sabers look to rebound against Rantoul on Monday (5:15) and Danville Tuesday (8:15) before heading into the Thanksgiving break. The Sabers are competing in the Blue Star Country Classic, headlined by the games on Saturday at Parkland College: Bollingbrook (IL) vs. Ben Davis (IN) and Heritage Christian (IN) vs. Rufus King (WI). Those games were intense and the competition fierce as many of the girls from those schools will be going on to show their talent among many of the big name Division 1 Schools next fall. Come out and support the Lady Sabers as they attempt to get back on a wining streak!

Daily Psalms Reading
Psalms 19:7-11
- From one end of the heavens it comes forth; its course runs through to the other; nothing escapes its heat.
- 8
- The law of the LORD is perfect, refreshing the soul. The decree of the LORD is trustworthy, giving wisdom to the simple.
- 9
- The precepts of the LORD are right, rejoicing the heart. The command of the LORD is clear, enlightening the eye.
- 10
- The fear of the LORD is pure, enduring forever. The statutes of the LORD are true, all of them just;
- 11
- More desirable than gold, than a hoard of purest gold, Sweeter also than honey or drippings from the comb.

Middle of November
I can't believe it's already the middle of November. Only 2 weeks until Turkey Day!
The results are in from the 2008 STM Election-John McCain defeated Barack Obama 127-83. The results were interesting, but it didn't turn out quite like the real election...
Statistics will be using the various pieces of information found from the election and organizing it for a project that is due Monday November 12th.
I hope everyone enjoyed the day off yesterday-give thanks to a Veteran when you see one!
